Welcome to the Levittown Public Library’s Book Club in a Bag Program. Our Book Club in a Bag Program makes it easy for Levittown Public Library patrons to facilitate their book club’s discussions by providing multiple copies of a title and a discussion guide with questions, author information, background materials and read-alikes.
- Our Book Club in a Bag Program provides multiple copies of a title (10 average) including Large Print and audiobook when available. The loan period is 6 weeks.
- Book Club in a Bag kits are available to any adult Levittown Public Library patron in good standing. When you borrow a bag you are responsible for all items including books, binders and bags.
- The Levittown Public Library currently has a collection of 17 titles available, with more than 200 additional available through the Nassau County Library Book Club in a Bag Consortium.
- While bags may be available without advance notice, it is best to plan ahead to make sure that your preferred title is available on the date you need it. Bags borrowed through the Nassau County Library Book Club in a Bag Consortium especially require advance notice.
